Hello and welcome to my picture gallery.
I have three main passions in life, these being my Christian faith, my family and my photography. If you have time to pause for a while I can share my photography with you.
I am a member of Dearn Valley Camera Club, a registered judge and lecturer on the Yorkshire Photographic Union circuit.
I am as some say a Ludite, I am still in the dark ages of wet dark room and film. Digital as either passed me by or not yet caught me up, I prefer to think the latter, at Dearn Valley Camera Club we have a mixed group of both camps and a healthy out look to both. Some may say I am not keeping up with progress I beg to differ. Not all things can be called progress.
Though I do maintain if you have ever eaten home made bread, and now eat lazy bread (sliced bread) then that can never be called progress. Likewise why drive a Mini when you have a Rolls Royce in your garage.
This last statement is called Cat among the Pigeons!!!!!!!!

I use Minolta Dynax 7 and Minolta Dynax 9 cameras and a collection of Minolta lenses.

NOTE
On the 14th of April 2008 I came to my Rubicon, I bit the bullet. I finally crossed the great divide to digital for my natural history work, film still has a strong influence in my photography and I hope and pray it will always be so.
There is no place like the solitude of the Darkroom. Doing all the work ones self and producing pictures with out the aid of Photoshop, skill and not button pressing.
